The Legal Defense Fund & System Navigation Initiative is the foundational core of our organization. Built on years of direct, real-world experience, this program provides expert, non-legal education and resource advocacy designed to prevent the institutional separation of fathers from their children. We are actively building a dedicated Legal Defense Fund to provide financial resource pools, document preparation assistance, and systemic tracking navigation to ensure fathers can protect their parental rights regardless of their financial bracket.
How It Works
- The Legal Defense Fund Pool: Capital raised through corporate sponsorships, private donors, and events (like our Swing, Swish & Score Celebrity Invitational) is directly allocated to a structured defense fund. This fund assists qualified fathers with court filing fees, process server costs, and administrative legal expenses.
- System Mapping & Administrative Workshops: Regular community workshops breaking down the complex mechanics of child support tracking, custody filings, and parental rights execution. We teach fathers how to accurately gather state/county forms and confidently represent themselves.
- Peer-Led Mentorship Panels: Connecting young or expectant fathers with experienced mentors to build accountability, emotional resilience, and sound strategic planning while navigating the family court system.
